Further to the introduction of the first Optometry Local Enhanced Service (LES) the Health and Social Care Board wish to advise you that an additional two assessment sessions have been agreed with the University of Ulster for practitioners wishing to provide the LES. In order to participate in the provision of the referral refinement enhanced service, practitioners will be required to pass the training and assessment programme delivered by the University of Ulster.
